MBC Squat Stand Standard 210cm Assembly Instructions

Precautions when assembling

*For safety, the rack should always be assembled by two or more people.

*When assembling, iron sand may come out from inside the frame. This is due to particles used in the pre-painting process entering through holes in the frame, and does not pose any danger when used. If any iron sand remains inside the frame, please remove it from the holes in the frame before assembling.

*The rack comes with paper assembly instructions. *The assembly instructions are in a sealed bag labeled "Delivery Note" and are attached to the outside of the box.

* Assemble the rack with the bolts partially tightened, and then tighten them completely after assembling everything. By doing so, you can assemble the rack in a shape that matches the shape of the base. If you assemble the rack with the bolts fully tightened from the beginning, the rack and base may not match after completion, causing wobble. If wobble occurs, loosen all the bolts and then retighten them.

*When tightening the bolts, tightening them too much may cause deformation of the frame. Please be careful not to tighten the bolts so much that it deforms the frame. (When tightening the bolts and nuts that directly attach to the frame, only tighten them to the point where the frame bends 1-2 mm. If it bends only slightly, loosen the bolts and the elasticity of the metal will allow it to return to its original shape.)
Please be careful not to overtighten the bolts attached to the top end of the support posts, especially the red circle in the image below, as this may cause the end of the support post to deform. MBC original racks use anti-loosening nuts, so there is no need to tighten the bolts with enough force to deform the support posts. Be careful not to overtighten the bolts, especially when assembling using an impact wrench.

*The poles have numbers engraved on one side. For squat stands and half racks, the side with the numbers should be facing forward. For power racks, the numbers should generally face the inside of the rack, but if you are using J-cups or safety arms on the outside of the rack, face them in the direction that is easiest to use.

Assembly flow
The assembly of MBC original racks, squat stands, half racks and power racks,

① Assembling both side parts

② Connect the assembled sides and attach the triangular plate

③Installation of J-cups, safety, plate storage, etc.

The process is as follows.

Assembly process 1: Assembling the side parts
①First, assemble the bottom part of the side.

The 148cm base of Type 2 and Type 2.5 has a front and a back, and the slightly longer side is the back side of the rack. Please be careful not to confuse the front and back.

Only in this part do you use a thin bolt. Insert it from below to secure the support and base. This part cannot be fully tightened after assembly, so please tighten it firmly at this point.

Assembly process 2: Connecting both sides, attaching the triangular plate, and attaching various parts.
②Next, assemble the upper part of the side part. When doing this, be sure to use a sturdy stepladder or footstool and have multiple people work together. If you are attaching a nameplate, fix it with the bolts at this stage.

③ (Type 1, Type 2) Connect the horizontal columns.

* (Type 2) When installing a plate-loaded lat pulldown/low row attachment, move it 2 to 3 holes forward and install it.

④ Attach the triangular plate to the support.

⑤ Attach the sandwich J-cup and safety and you're done.
